Financial channels have high information density and high timeliness requirements. Macro data, company announcements, project updates, market commentary and trading rumors are often squeezed into the same timeline. What users want to know is “what has happened to this project recently, whether the channel’s views have changed, and where is the original announcement.” However, if you look through them one by one, it is easy to regard the forwarding as the primary source, the old views as the current position, and it is also easy to ignore subsequent corrections.
The channel knowledge base is suitable for organizing research clues and positioning original news, but is not suitable for making buying and selling decisions for you. The closer you get to a funding decision, the closer you need to shorten the distance from the summary back to primary materials.
There are four special difficulties in financial channel search
First, names and codes are easily confused. The same asset may have a full name, abbreviation, ticker, contract address and old name; projects with the same name may be completely unrelated. Precise keywords can be used to find codes, and semantic queries can be used to find concepts, but in the end the object must be confirmed with the issuing entity, exchange or regulatory documents.
Second, time changes sentence meaning. “Stay Bullish” is only valid for a specific time; “Coming Soon” may be completed or canceled days later. The message time, query range and latest data time should also be displayed in the answer.
Third, forwarding the chain dilutes the source. Channel A forwards channel B, and channel B quotes a screenshot without a link. Just because it appears multiple times does not make it a fact. You should follow up on the company’s investor relations page, regulatory disclosures, official project announcements or data release agencies.
Fourth, edits and deletions may change records. The channel might revise the numbers, remove failed predictions, or supplement the conditions with new messages. A single sentence summary cannot capture these changes, so key conclusions must be accompanied by sources and dates.
First divide financial information into three layers
| Level | Example | Usage |
|---|---|---|
| First-hand facts | Company announcements, regulatory documents, official project updates, data agency releases | As the final verification object |
| Analysis and opinion | Researcher interpretation, scenario analysis, valuation discussion | Examine assumptions, timing and stakes |
| Rumors and signals | “Inside information”, anonymous revelations, unsourced screenshots | Only as clues to be confirmed, do not act based on them |
When asking questions, you can ask the system to label each candidate message with the “source type of the channel’s self-report”, but do not let the model determine whether it is true or false based on the tone of voice. If there is no link or body information, just clearly write “Source not stated.”
Six types of practical queries
Official announcement of the retrieval project
Find product launch, funding, token, governance, or security announcements for Project X in the current channel’s news from August 1 to August 9. Distinguish between channel originals, official reposts and secondary comments; list the original message time and external primary links, and lack a separate mark for primary links.
How does the review view change?
Don’t just ask “How do I watch the channel?” Ask: “List in chronological order the clear bullish, bearish, or neutral statements on company Y over the past 30 days, and cite the news surrounding each change. Don’t automatically repost facts as a channel position.”
Attitude categorization itself has room for interpretation. The most valuable output is not an emotion label, but the original sentence, time and context that can be checked side by side.
Find explanations before and after the incident
Use financial reports, policy releases, safety incidents or product launches as time anchors to retrieve pre-event expectations, event-day facts and post-event reviews respectively. This can reduce the problem of ex-post judgments overriding ex-ante judgments, and it can also make it clear which predictions are actually based on timestamps.
Summary risk tips
Ask to extract only the risks, assumptions, and failure conditions that are clearly written out by the channel and juxtaposed with optimistic arguments. Don’t let the model make up for risks that the channel has not mentioned based on common sense, and don’t write “no risk” as “no risk”.
Check the source of key figures
Income, number of users, locked position, target price and rate of return must include currency, unit, period and comparison basis. The question can ask: “List the original news where the numbers come from, and indicate whether the news is from a primary source.” Just because a number looks accurate, does not mean it is verifiable.
Find clues for subsequent correction or deletion
Ask for follow-up information on a project name, announcement link, or key figure, and view expressions such as “correction, update, clarification, withdrawal” in chronological order. asktele can display the current status of available sources, but third-party systems cannot guarantee recovery of content that is no longer accessible.
The right rhythm for multi-channel research
Grouped by source role: official announcement channels, industry media, research opinions and high-noise trade discussions. First ask official sources “what happened”, then ask research channels “how to explain”, and finally check market discussions “what clues need to be verified”. The order is reversed, and it is easy to be anchored by strong opinions first.
asktele can manage multiple broadcast channel sources, but currently each question only targets one selected channel. You need to switch between sources and repeat questions, rather than getting an automatically blended answer across channels. This limitation makes the origin of each result clear, but also means that cross-channel consistency, duplication and conflicts still require manual comparison.
If you just need to find a ticker or a link, Telegram’s native search is more straightforward. Use natural language Q&A when you need to review for a period of time, understand different wordings, sort out changes in opinions, and retain evidence.
Financial Security: Separate “finding information” from “believing information”
The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s investor education website reminds that you should not rely solely on information in investment group chats to make investment decisions; impersonated experts, AI-generated signals, pump-and-dump and risk-free promises may appear in group chats. The FBI has also issued warnings about investment clubs on social and messaging apps, listing risk signals including unsolicited advice, a sense of urgency, low-priced securities and guaranteed returns.
Therefore, any answers should not be turned directly into trading instructions. Perform four checks on high-risk conclusions: whether the subject is authentic; whether primary documents exist; whether the time and data are still valid; and whether the publisher of the information is likely to make a profit. Do not interpret the channel certification mark as Telegram’s endorsement of content or views. Telegram officials also clearly distinguish between “official source identity” and “content endorsement.”
asktele does not connect trading accounts, execute trades, or provide personalized investment advice. Its product value is to reduce the time spent searching for information in channels to which the user has access and link answers back to the message. The final decision should be based on regulatory disclosures, professional advice and your own risk tolerance.
