The core difference between Telegram public channels and private channels is how to be discovered and gain access. Why can’t I find private channels?

In the end, the current Telegram interface and access results should still prevail, because the channel administrator can change the public status.

Then distinguish between “channel type” and “link type”. Public channels can also create additional invitation links, and private channels may also display the name and number of people in the invitation preview. Seeing an invitation link does not mean that the channel is private, nor does seeing a preview mean that the content has been made public.
