Dating and dating channels usually update quickly and have inconsistent formats. A self-introduction may include city, age, interests and relationship intentions, or it may only have a few descriptions or a picture. Reading them one by one is time-consuming; just searching for “Beijing” and “serious relationship” will encounter problems with old posts, reposts, missing conditions, and different meanings.
The search tool can help organize the publisher’s conditions actively written in the message, but it cannot verify your identity, judge your character, or infer undisclosed personal characteristics for you. This boundary is more important than saving time.
First define what you are looking for are posts, not “screening people”
A reasonable task would be: “Find self-introductions posted by adults in the last 30 days on the current channel that clearly indicate that they are in Shanghai, want a long-term relationship, and mention hiking or photography; list the date of posting, the conditions under which the original text has been published, and a link to the message.”
Unreasonable tasks include guessing age, ethnicity, income, health or sexual orientation based on photos; summarizing a person’s activity across channels; inferring who is “more likely to say yes”; or bypassing channel permissions to find contact details. AI should not complete sensitive information from tone of voice, avatar, and username, nor should it turn dating channels into a library of person portraits.
If the message does not explicitly state a condition, write “Not stated.” Conditional filtering can only reduce the amount of reading and cannot package text matching into human evaluation.
Four common search pain points in dating channels
There are many ways to write the same condition
“Long-term relationship” may be written as serious relationship, stable relationship, marriage-oriented or English long-term relationship. Cities may be referred to as abbreviations, metropolitan areas, or specific neighborhoods. Relying on just one exact word will miss relevant posts, and searching through all synonyms in turn is time-consuming.
Natural language questions can describe the meaning of the target, and then ask the system to list the original text that actually hit it. The message must then be opened to determine whether the model misclassified “can recognize and see” as a clear long-term intention.
Old posts still look like the current state
There is no automatic expiration mechanism for posts. Introductions from months ago may still be hit by searches, but the publisher’s status, city, and intent have changed. The question should limit the release date, and check first to see if there are any subsequent withdrawals, updates, or “found” messages.
Do not interpret “the message is still visible” to mean that the publisher is still being contacted. Check the channel rules and original post description before contacting; stop if the other party does not respond, and do not follow up across platforms.
Information is split into multiple messages or posters
Some channels send the number first and then supplement the contact information with another message; some key information is only in the picture. asktele’s answer is based on the currently queryable message text and cannot guarantee to cover all images, videos, voices or external form content. When fields are missing from your answer, you should go back to Telegram to view the full message and attachments.
Forwarding and impersonation make it more difficult to confirm identity
Number of retweets, number of channel subscriptions, and nice self-introduction cannot prove identity. Telegram’s certification mark can help identify some official sources, but ordinary individuals in dating posts often don’t have platform-level endorsements of authenticity. No tool should claim “AI has verified this person is real.”
A safer question template
Questions can contain the following structure:
View only the searchable text of the currently selected channel from July 10th to August 9th. Find a self-introduction that clearly states that you are an adult, that you live in Seattle or the surrounding city, that you want to have a serious relationship, and that you mention reading or outdoor activities. Only excerpt information that the poster actively discloses; do not infer any qualifications from the name, avatar, or tone of voice. List the date and source of the message, and mark duplicates individually.
There are three key restrictions here: limit it to a channel and time range; use only clear text; and require attribution. If the platform or channel rules do not allow external processing, do not access the knowledge base and continue browsing normally within Telegram.
asktele can manage multiple broadcast channels, but the current question is only retrieved in one selected channel. When you need to view another channel, you should switch sources and use the same template. This avoids mixing sources, but it is not a cross-channel people search, and it should not be used to create personal profiles.
Verification steps from candidate message to contact
- Open the original message and confirm the publishing time, complete context, and channel rules.
- Check whether there are any updates, withdrawals, fraudulent use reminders or changes in contact information.
- Maintain low-sensitivity communication within the platform first, and do not rush to provide address, certificates, company details or financial information.
- Doing a reverse image search on photos can help find stolen images, but the results are not identity verification.
- Video calls and meetings in public places can only reduce part of the risk and cannot be used as a reason to transfer funds.
- If someone asks for money for airfare, medical care, gifts, investments, or an “emergency,” stop immediately and seek independent verification.
The Federal Trade Commission’s Consumer Guidance on Romance Scams reminds: Scammers often first establish trust and then ask for money or gifts for various reasons; do not send money or give gifts to an online romantic partner you have not met offline. Different regions should also refer to the latest advice from local law enforcement and consumer protection agencies.
Be particularly wary of “dating-to-investment”
Some scams do not directly lend money, but instead direct relationships to crypto assets, stocks, or so-called internal platforms. The other party may chat for a long time, show fake earnings, and then induce you to recharge on a designated website. No matter how trustworthy the relationship seems, never take investment advice in chat as due diligence, and never transfer money to a wallet or account controlled by a stranger.
The purpose of asktele is to help you locate public texts and original messages in channels that you have permission to process. It does not provide identity authentication, credit checks, background checks or investment advice. Decisions involving people, property and privacy need to be made through independent channels.
When should you stop searching?
If the content involves minors, involuntary disclosure, private contact information, leaked personal information or tracking of a person, the compilation and dissemination should be stopped immediately. If you discover threats, extortion or fraud, save the necessary evidence and use Telegram’s reporting portal, and contact the local platform, financial institution or law enforcement authorities.
Efficiency is not the only goal. A good dating channel retrieval process should allow you to more quickly find posts that are voluntarily disclosed and still potentially valid, while minimizing misjudgments, boundary crossings, and risks, rather than replacing human consent with more data.
